Pet Portrait Image Guidelines

The key to a remarkable pet portrait lies in the quality of the image you provide. To ensure your pet's portrait turns out just right, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Choose or take a photo in daylight or a well-lit room for optimal clarity.
  2. Ensure your pet's entire face and neck are visible, free from shadows.
  3. Use a smartphone or high-quality camera for sharpness and detail.
  4. Avoid overly filtered photos to accurately capture your pet's natural coloring.
  5. Aim for a photo where your pet is looking directly at the camera at eye level, facing forward. While other poses are acceptable, the final portrait will depict your pet in the position in the original photo.

  • No Shadows
  • No Filters
  • Well-lit & sharp

Bad

  • Photo taken from top angle, not eye level
  • Face is distorted because of angle
  • Neck not visible

Bad

  • Dark image
  • Blurry photo
  • Heavy shadows
  • Face & neck are not clear & visible
